Supervise preparation of key financial reports utilized by the Authority’s executive management team and external audit firms.Prepare Comprehensive Financial Annual Report including Management Discussion and Analysis, Footnotes, and Financial Data Schedules. Maintain continual understanding of pending and newly issued authoritative financial accounting and reporting guidance including summarizing its impact for the Authority’s executive management team. Lead contact for external financial statement audit and single audit teamsDesign and implement effective internal controls for billing and revenue recognition processes as well as redesign of property accounting reporting model.

Simultaneously supervise multiple attestation engagements for multiple clientsPerformed ongoing controller duties for various non-attest clientsPerform internal quality review of attestation engagement workpapersNetwork with prospective clients in order to generate new business for the firm and responsible for bringing several new clients to the firm

Perform, supervise and review all facets of audit, review and compilation engagements including preparation of engagement budget and planning, detailed account analysis, internal control testing, preparation and presentation of financial statements to client personnel and board of directorsEvaluate the effectiveness of the client’s internal control. Provide suggestions for improvements in accounting policies and internal control proceduresTrain and develop new staff including formal software training.
