Research InternMontgomery County Public Schools Office Of Community Partnership And Engagement Jun 2013 - Aug 2013Rockville, MdI researched the feasibility of implementing a partnership program between individual schools and community groups such as religious organizations and civic associations. The partnership program would have allowed local community groups to work with the schools to provide services the schools needed such as after-school tutoring or English classes for parents. I examined the challenges of implementing this program and how to overcome them. I presented my findings in a policy paper in order to help policymakers in Montgomery County better implement the program.
