CurrentDavid is a Chartered Building Surveyor with 23 years’ experience at a professional level in the Educational, Commercial, Healthcare, Public, and Private sectors, and has dealt with a wide range of properties and building types. He is a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), having over 16 years post qualification experience, and during this time he has developed a wide range of experience across all aspects of Building Surveying Core disciplines, in both the Public and Private sectors. Specialisms include the provision of a full range of professional services including providing design, refurbishment and building pathology advice; development of design standards and long term building strategies and usage; as well as general estate management and building stock improvement programmes to meet specific design criteria and performances. David also has extensive experience of creating and maintaining long term relationships with clients and stakeholders, to achieve a specific project or programme of projects objectives, including ensuring compliance with design standards and targets, as well as statutory and regulatory approvals. In particular designing and refurbishing buildings to create a robust, secure and easily maintainable environments. He has also worked on projects throughout the UK, where he has delivered numerous successfully completed schemes. Projects typically consisted of surveys for compliance assessments; brief development; feasibility reports; producing building specifications; contract documentation; drawings and schedule of works to a satisfactory completion and handover.
