    As a co-founder and eventual training manager of the ShipOnSite corporation, I helped develop the combined shipping / eBay business model in the beginning. I was Sunny 93.9's "Dave the eBay Guy" with a monthly call-in segment on the Madison in the Morning Show with Dave Kent. I was technical lead on the build-out crew, and was responsible for ensuring the store owner's systems were properly assembled, networked, and functional as point of sale and shipping computers. This also meant developing process documents and build-out procedures for new stores, and adapting to unique and unforeseen situations during build-outs. Afterwards, I was responsible for ensuring that new store owners were well versed in the ins-and-outs of the packing, shipping, and eBay consignment businesses. I also offered phone and technical support to store owners as they learned to operate their franchise. At our peak prior to 2008, we had established over 35 franchises from Augusta, Maine to Tampa, Florida and as far west as Houston, Texas.

    19K Armor Crewmember. I graduated from OSUT (one station unit training) at Ft Knox, KY the winter of 1989-90 in the Excellence in Armor program, and was the company Top Gun on the 9mm pistol. In 1990, I was stationed in Garlstedt, Germany at the Lucious Clay Kaserne near Bremen, home of the forward unit of 2nd Armored Division "Hell of Wheels" with A Co. 2/66 Jan 1991 found me on stevedore duty in Al Jubail with the 1st Infantry Division "Big Red One" waiting for our tanks to arrive from Germany. Two months later, the shooting and killing and blood and death started... I determined at that point the Army was not the career for me.
