Product Support Development Manager in Applied Materials In charge of leading engineering processes combined with infrastructure development and support, working closely with R&D, providing support, maintenance and automation developments for the company's clients. Direct management of a team of 4 engineers for NPI products. Writing characterization documents, including detailed description of the stages of the work processes for the software developers. Response to client requirements – from the drawings, testing, performance analysis and future software & hardware developments. Responsible for compliance with regulations, including SEMI2. Professional training for internal and external clients, and writing manuals. Preparing DFx mechanical design (ECO/ECM) for correction of development errors and creating jigs for mechanical planning / calibration / installation of the machine.The job involves development of smart automation and advanced tools for monitoring malfunctions:1. Development of automation for calibrating the machine: development of SW features for automatic calibration without the presence of an engineer, thereby reducing machine downtime by about 70%.2. Development of automated preventive maintenance: automated mechanism for testing and calibration (scheduled for an optimum time) for resetting the optical, electronic and mechanical mechanisms. 3. Development of a jig for testing the fitness of the laser without need to switch off the machine. This process created an annual saving of tens of workdays (maintaining fixed output, a saving of hundreds of percent). Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of the company's products (test machines) Direct management of engineers – professional training, individual and welfare management for achieving company's goals through high motivation and teamwork Initiator of solutions for improving yield (output) and reducing malfunctions by creating developments and mechanical, optical and electronic automation processes Extensive experience in working according to regulations; preparing characterization for the process and intensive work with the development team Supporting internal / external clients, including the development and creation of engineering solutions.
