 Order inventory with the aid of JIT Deliver medical supplies, including medical gas to the various units within the hospital Receive and log medical supplies with the aid of Meditech and maintain an organized storeroom  Maintain accurate records of stock issued and received and perform inventory counts as needed Adhere to control practices and procedures (FIFO, LIFO) Prepare documents for supplies being shipped locally and internationally Make arrangements with couriers (Fedex, UPS, Purolator, etc.) for transportation of medical supplies to other hospitals Liaise with the Purchasing Department and/or vendors whenever there are stock discrepancies
