The Costa Mesa Playhouse is a 73-seat, not-for-profit, Community Theater that has been serving greater Orange County for almost 50 years. The Playhouse is dedicated to presenting affordable, quality, live theater in a comfortable and intimate setting, and to offering the talented actors, singers, dancers, and stage craftspeople of Orange County a welcoming environment in which to practice their craft. With a season running from September through June and five productions per season, the Playhouse offers a diverse array of plays and musicals to our theatergoing public.

A versatile performer, David has appeared in venues all over the world. He has performed in Germany, Italy, France as well as numerous opera houses, the Arena di Verona, and Carnegie Hall. A proud member of Opera Pacific, Mr. Blair performed in such operas as Le nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflöte, Susannah, L'elisir d'amore and Aida to name a few. He also became a regular with Long Beach Opera performing in Nixon in China, Akhnaten, Les Mamelles de Tirésias and as “el fotografo” in the US premier of ¡Únicamente La Verdad!.

Taeacher of musical theatre, improvisation, performance artistry and basic dance for musical theatre courses. Planned, directed and hosted showcases and small-scale productions for the students under my instruction. Directed and coached groups during our annual all studio Spring Showcase. Acted as advisor to the studio on teacher selection, classes and anything regarding performing arts.
