Employed as a New Product Introduction Engineer, for DPT who repair LCD PANELS for the major computer and Mobile Phone Manufacturers. I am responsible for the Project Management of New Product Introductions I work closely with Customer Services and Quality in resolving production and customer issues, creating work instructions and production support. I am responsible for the introduction of new LCD panels for the repair process, this involves the reverse engineering of the panels, and developing the repair process, staff training and process documentation, to ISO 9001 standards. I am also actively involved in daily production meetings, where my input has resolved a number of complex technical and production issues.My other duties were• Research into Chip on Glass bonding techniques.• The reverse engineering of LCD panels.• Interfacing LCD's to test equipment.• Developing the repair process.• Staff training and process documentation

Employed initially for six months as part of the graduate into business program, main duties were the design and development of debris monitors using hall effect and inductive sensors, Which detect the presence of ferrous and nonferrous debris in lubricating systems. This involved working closely with Edinburgh University, and other manufacturing companies. I was actively involved In the marketing, and setting up of Beta test sites for these new products, with Companies like Rolls Royce, Rockwell Automation, British Nuclear Power. This involved me in significant contact with customers, both home and abroad.

I was a placement student with Pilkington Optronics, where I was part of a multidisciplinary team developing a night vision system for the automobile industry. I was responsible for developing the system power supply, the development of a high brightness white LED backlight and the selection, evaluation and integration of video processing electronics including the provision of the required system solution. This involved me in significant contact with customers and suppliers both home and abroad. During my time with Pilkingtons I also worked on the design of a power supply for a helmet mounted targeting system, which being a military product required me to work within strict engineering guidelines. I have experience in building and testing circuit boards. I was given a great deal of responsibility while I was with Pilkingtons, which I responded to with enthusiasm and, I believe, participated fully in the design discussions and decision making. I am also more than capable of working on my own initiative and have been called on to support the product within the UK and overseas An understanding of systems engineering. Customer interaction both home and abroad.
