• Responsible and accountable for material availability of five warships for operational tasking, coordinated team responses to resolve emergent operational defects.• Led team of five platform managers and five maintenance engineers to deliver 15 maintenance, upgrade and repair projects totalling £12m to time, cost and quality; directly planned and managed four of these, including trial overseas maintenance period in Bahrain.• Duty commanding officer for HMS NELSON, took decisions to ensure safety and security of UK’s busiest naval base for situations beyond ordinary, including leadership of the response to any pollution emergency.• Instigated professional risk management system and improved defect management system for platform management team: increased team efficiency and enabled effective mitigation of time and cost risk.• Improved team ethos through setting strategic objectives and teambuilding activities, improving retention and team performance.
