Lead a Multi-disciplinary team to troubleshoot and rectify a newly commissioned poor performing asset, resulting in a satisfactory outcome being achieved.Asset / Maintenance ManagementInstrumental in identifying the need, selecting and implementing the Avantis Computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) for use within Ravensdown, and has assisted in raising the operational efficiencies and improved the control of maintenance costs at three manufacturing sites, and has realised considerable savings in increased efficiencies and reliability. Instrumental in working with line management through the cultural change to develop maintenance leadership teams to move from a reactive to a proactive maintenance culture, resulting in sustained and significantly increased reliability across the Works and increased professionalism in the Maintenance teams. Developed a Downtime and Benchmarking system being used at each of the manufacturing sites to assist with continual improvement reporting on OEE. Reliability has improved over 15% to be consistently in the low 90’s at the major sites. Presented “In Search of World Class Maintenance – A Business Centred Approach” at Mainstream New Zealand and the Maintenance Engineering Society New Zealand.
