About David Blixt
Author, actor, father, husband. In reverse order. I'm the author of nine published novels and a dozen shorter works. I've performed in or done fight work for 30 different plays in Shakespeare's canon.I discovered eleven lost novels by journalist Nellie Bly. I was first paid to teach theatre when I was 15 years old. My works of fiction have been published in seven languages. I played Macbeth for 17 years in a row for several different theatre companies. I read comic books, historical mysteries, urban fantasy, and magical realism. I would like to write all of them.I've been thrown out of the Vatican, and also blessed by a pope (not the same day). I like talking on the phone. Yes, I'm the one. I have imposter syndrome. I also love to say, "Why not try?" It's an interesting mix.
