David is beyond dedicated to our success willing to answer the phone at all times, including weekends. He is also very diligent about following up on technical answers. If he doesn't know the answers, he tracks them down as quickly as possible. Because of David's support levels, I recommended him for the Rackspace Insanely Fanatical Support award in 2016 and was very happy to see his company grant him this award." and "I met David during a liquidation of a local ISP, who's location on a fiber ring was worth looking into. His boss opened the door to their "data center", and I saw a very young man in a room the size of a large closet hacking away at Cacti and config scripts. The dated Compaq servers in the racks around him supported a respectable dial-up business, along with running the web hosting for the county of about 300k citizens, email services, and who knows what else. I immediately knew why I took the time to entertain this location, he was standing right before me. Being in a web-backwater in Southeast Texas in 2007, I'd not met a lot of guys capable of running a system even of that level, let alone at that age, all by themselves. We ended up declining any part of the liquidation, but we would give David a home once his responsibilities were taken care of. At this point I had been the sole admin / 24x7 oncall for our growing SaaS product for 5 years. David was switching from Linux to the Windows world, but he took to it quickly and within a short period of time he became a driving force for the business. Over the course of several years, David's skills grew by leaps and bounds. His technical and problem solving abilities are impeccable, and his compassion for customers, team members, and everyone around him is incredible. David is a rare breed when it comes to commitment, ownership, passion, drive, and determination, backed by skills. The combination is a beautiful thing. I highly recommend David as an incredible lead tech, and if I could manage to coax him back to Beaumont to work for me again I would have already bent over backwards to make it happen."
