The “Art of Self-Regulation” is a course designed to provide information to any age human beings about our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies. The goal of the course is to provide students with self-knowledge and daily practices that have helped many other human beings heal themselves for thousands of years. The intention of the course is to provide students a path towards discovering innate abilities they possess to regulate their auto immune responses. Students will learn about techniques to regulate their auto immune responses including anger, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, fear, as well as gratitude, happiness, hope and love. The core of the program is based on teaching skills such as mindfulness, efficient breathing practices, self-awareness and the body-mind connection. Students will be introduced to performance techniques used by elite athletes such as body scans or "checking in" with the body, mental imagery or "visualization", physical recovery, and healthy nutritional habits.
