In addition to searching for a job, I’ve been doing self-study on security and taking a small break to recharge.

I owned the applications landscape in IT: the current ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite, EBS), the new ERP being implemented (Oracle Fusion, a cloud ERP solution), the data warehouse and business intelligence systems, applications integrated to the ERP(s), several standalone applications, and the external website. I worked closely with the IT Lead responsible for the new ERP implementation to ensure that he had the support, feedback, and insights from myself and my team to maximize effectiveness of the implementation.I also directed IT’s compliance activities (SOX, segregation of duties, internal IT controls, SOC2 reviews, ISO audits, vendor reviews, Change Advisory Board). I led the SG&A (non-capital) budgeting for all of corporate IT; I worked closely with FP&A for tracking global IT’s adherence to the (SG&A) budgets and updating of forecasts.My team included a manager, the DBA’s, the developers, the US-based application analysts, the hosting provider (for the ERP) and 2 additional managed service providers. My team and I partnered with the 2 international IT teams and the infrastructure team to provide new solutions to Exterran, to improve operations of existing systems, and to support the existing systems. I led the IT application architecture efforts working closely with several senior members of my team and a couple of staff from the other teams as we adopted technologies to drive value-added and/or cost saving business solutions. In turn, we functioned as part of a wider enterprise architecture effort looking across the entire IT landscape.

I directed a team of application analysts covering the ERP (Oracle EBS), the Oracle DBA’s and the relationship between Exterran and the hosting provider that operated and maintained the technical aspects of the ERP system. I also managed the budget covering my team, Oracle, and the hosting provider. I led my team to execute another upgrade of our ERP (from 12.2.3 to 12.2.8) at a fraction of the price quoted by several consulting companies.

I managed a team of application analysts who covered all the systems used in the supply chain and manufacturing organizations. I worked closely with IT leadership and my peers to progress solutions from idea to production. As such, I was the IT leader for several re-engineering projects. I also led my team to work on the Oracle EBS Upgrade Project (from version 11.5.10 to 12.2.3).

I was the analyst for several manufacturing modules in Oracle EBS. I also used my technical background and experience with various Oracle (and non-Oracle) technologies. I worked with the team on Change Management (modifying our internal IT processes to be more in line with ITIL for incidents, services, and change control).
