- Led a twelve-member development team to modernize a legacy ETL pipeline by re-designing it to use Hadoop big-data technologies such as HDFS, Hive and Spark. Responsibilities include architecting the high-level technical design, planning and tracking of project deliverables, providing mentorship to team members, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure that business and compliance requirements are met by the design. - Delivered a first iteration solution to systematically trace data lineage, enabling Citi to meet regulatory and compliance targets. using technologies such as Oracle DB, Java, OpenShift and Docker. System was taken from concept to deployment in under six months, and processes up to 250GB of data per day.
