This includes 3D modeling, 2D drafting, plastic injection-molding design, sheet metal, graphic design and fabrication of test equipment. Prompt support of all aspects of hardware development, manufacturing, and end users.• Assisting MR&D in the development of StruxureWare building automation controllers and field devices, including the design of plastic enclosures in various sizes with multiple configurations.• Designed custom plastic inserts to accommodate different model configurations utilizing the same enclosure. This has reduced tooling costs and has created endless options for future designs.• Resolved a connector engagement issue, by designing a custom clip/anchoring feature, which provided firm seating between connector mates. • Provide assembly and detailed drawings for the manufacturing of new product lines including injection-molded plastics, sheet-metal mounting plates, enclosures, labels and circuit board layouts.• Graphic designs including artworks for functionality placards, termination pin-outs, and UL regulatory labels.• Completed corporate re-branding of all current product labels, placards, and manuals.• Update existing drawings and artworks via ECO requests.• Provided technical writers and marketing teams with accurate product renderings for brochures and installation guides.• Create drawings to scale, depicting assembled product for customer applications.• Traveled to Malmo, Sweden for design reviews.• Providing support for Buildings business division located in North Andover, MA.
