• I am an economist by education and have worked in banking for almost a quarter of a century. I had the opportunity to learn a lot - from forex trading through risk management and credits all the way to treasury and finance, reporting directly to the Board. I know how to operate in the environment of a large multinational corporation but I also know the dynamics of smaller teams. I learned that a leader is only as good as the team around him, and that trust and motivation are two sides of the same coin.• In 2016, I decided to change my career. I left the world of finance and business and started working for one of the largest Czech NGO, People in Need. My goal and key responsibility is to come up with systemic changes that improve the quality of life of people affected by poverty and social exclusion. I strive to improve the conditions of debtors, motivate lenders to behave more responsibly and promote necessary legal changes.• Coaching... I first encountered it at a time when I took over a new team and struggled with efficient management. Meeting a coach was a turning point for me. In just a short time, I found solutions to seemingly unsolvable problems. Things began to work "on their own." I got interested in coaching as such and I wanted to learn more. After completing basic training at Akademie Libchavy, I obtained an ICF certificate and started coaching professionally.• Work is an important part of life but it should not be the only one. So, how do I spent my leisure time? A few years ago, I fell in love with sailing and acquired the necessary license. Every year, I am trying to spend at least couple of weeks at sea. It is a place that teaches me humility and responsibility but gives me freedom in return. When I'm not sailing, I run - I try to complete at least one thousand kilometres per year. But running is not just a matter of challenging myself. It is an activity that clears my mind and allows me run through the events of the day.
