Improved the English proficiency of 92 primary and secondary Malaysian teachers to become confident users of the English language at least to C1 level of CEFR. Developed and implemented lesson plans incorporating a range of skill building activities in the four areas of language learning: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. The emphasis leaned a lot towards grammar teaching, because of the lack of exposure these teachers have had to an English-only environment.I also trained/mentored/facilitated primary, public school teachers in Malaysia in improving their English proficiency and their pedagogical skills. This was done through conducting workshops, demonstration lessons, team teachings and observations.Selected accomplishments:• Led the teachers from A2/B1 to C1 (CEFR) in eight months by organizing seven-hour long workshops once a week with each of four groups of around 20 teachers.• Achieved the best progress in the group with many teachers achieving the required results and financial rewards for that. They continue to correspond with me and I still help them with grammar questions. • Many teachers understood grammar points better and have introduced these into their lesson planning.• A significant number of them acquired C1 results (CEFR) and received financial rewards for that. They continue to correspond with me and I still help them with grammar questions, even though 3 years later.
