After qualifying as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer I joined IBM and spent 10 years in a variety of technical and team leader positions. I then trained as an IBM Project Manager and worked for the next 5 years on pharmacy and security projects. As a career-break, I left IBM to spend 4 years volunteering in a Tibetan retreat centre on Holy Isle in Scotland which I found to be a particularly valuable and fulfilling experience. To return to the IT industry I acquired the CISSP accreditation and then began helping CYBRARY with the QA of their cybersecurity courses. In 2019 I became the Program Lead for CYBRARY's Lab Developer program, building Advanced Penetration Testing and "Capture the Flag" hands-on labs. I then reached out to Skillable, and in March 2021 joined them as a Senior Technical Account Engineer supporting their EMEA clients which then transitioned into that of a Senior Customer Success Manager. In October 2024 to support the growth of our EMEA region I moved into the Senior Technical Solutions Manager role.
