I have broad operational expertise incl. counter terrorism, crisis management, capacity building and working with international partners. Comfortable with challenge and considered risk, I’ve successfully delivered projects in high-threat environments (Lashkar Gah and Sulaymaniyah).Outside of work I’m mad about adventurous overseas’ travel and foreign languages: a German (C1) and Dutch (B2) speaker who aspires to live out the rest of his days in the Bavarian Alps. I'm also a keen outdoorsman and aspiring blues harmonica player.
