As a local social enterprise EnV are able to provide a personal service combining a professional and customer focused approach to ensure a high quality outcome.EnV activities aim to benefit the communities of Coventry and the surrounding areas with the ideal of 'Providing quality events, training and volunteers in the community, by the community, for the community.'As Managing Director of EnV I hold responsibility for business management, business strategy, business policy, financial management, financial forecasting, budgeting, purchasing, invoicing, contracting, sales and administration as well as managing delivery of all event management, training delivery and volunteer management of various events across various locations.EnV have a proven track record of delivering high-quality events and volunteer programmes, achievements to date include:• Shortlisted for Social Enterprise West Midlands Awards (2014 & 2015); Coventry Community Cohesion Awards 2015 and Coventry & Warwickshire Tourism & Culture Awards 2015• Enabled over 15,000 participants through event delivery• Recruited and trained 70 new volunteers since 2013 (In addition to the 330 Coventry Ambassadors recruited in 2012) • Coventry Ambassador programme provided over 27,400 voluntary hours supporting over 70 events since 2012• The Coventry Ambassador volunteer programme awarded the Queens Diamond Jubilee Award for Volunteering; London 2012 Inspire Mark and Coventry Community Cohesion Award

Working across the sub region Coventry, Solihull & Warwickshire leading a project that supports people to volunteer in clubs and the clubs to gain new volunteers by creating new sport opportunities with sport clubs, brokering volunteers into new opportunities, coordinating and delivering sport volunteer conferences. Managed large numbers of volunteers at major events and have led the coordination of the London 2012 Host City Volunteer Programme for Coventry that required 500 volunteers to train, deploy and manage in 2012.This Coventry Ambassador ‘Host City Volunteer’ project has since been confirmed to continue as a key legacy project and has been awarded national and local recognition with:• Queens Diamond Jubilee Award • Coventry Community Cohesion AwardOver the many years I have been involved in sport I have experienced volunteering in every aspect as a competitor supported by club volunteers, as a volunteer myself in positions of coach, official, and club committee member and professionally working to develop volunteering in the sport and leisure sector. As a National Governing Body Officer for Athletics my main duties surrounded club, coach and official development supporting and working directly with clubs and volunteers. Covering the areas of Birmingham, Coventry Solihull and Warwickshire I managed and supported many volunteer led competitions, coaching schemes and clubs at community and elite level. These include summer schemes, coach education courses, County Performance Squads, Clubmark accreditations and Youth Games. To implement the England Athletics Birmingham, Coventry Solihull & Warwickshire Strategic Delivery Plan I formed & coordinated a County Athletics Development Forum with active members from a wide range of voluntary club and professional partners who took ownership of the County Plan, working together to meet its objectives.
