Direct oversight of reporters covering the NBA, MLB, Sports Media, Professional Golf, NASCAR, Ticketing and Technology. Duties include planning and editing stories and projects, determining their print and online presentation, and their placement in each weekly issue.

Covered everything from town council meetings to the police beat, learning the ropes in my first job in journalism. Primary beat included the coalfields of McDowell County, WV.
