I love games! I'm sure you do too! Who doesnt?! One day I decided I wasn't happy with playing games anymore, I had to learn how to make my own! I searched around and found the popular RPG Maker software, which was fun at first, but the limitations and restrictions of the engine quickly started to annoy me. I learned how to create my own exe's and dll's using c++ to expand the default capabilities...I began to realize that my time was being wasted trying to expand the rpg maker framework and decided to create my own custom javscript based game engine. Creating a custom game engine is not an easy task, especially with the featureset that I wanted, but slowly, things started coming together. The engine itself is written using javascript with modern es modules. This allows features to easily be added and removed on a per project basis. The engine is also capable of displaying animated armature sprites via dragonbones (with spriter/spine/live2d<>dragonbones conversion tools available), has an optional 'backend server' for easily integrating online play sessions, can record and save in game footage, and much much more. I do realize that it can't really be called a game engine unless it has actually shipped finished games. Because of this I am working on a personal game project to release alongside the game engine. Turns out creating the engine was the easy part... Who knew?!Anyway, thats me in a nutshell.
