During 2020, I adapted 2 chemistry units to successfully be delivered wholly online with synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.I have averaged a 90% student pass record with 40% of passing students attaining an A. I also maintained and monitored meticulous records of student attendance and class grades to detect at-risk students early and apply any appropriately actions. Throughout this period I designed, delivered and adapted course material to effectively teach domestic and international students with little or no background in chemistry or associated mathematics. Using blended learning principles, I augmented the lecture slides with multimedia and practical demonstrations that illustrated the lesson’s subject matter, and added external links, resources and activities to the course LMS.

Through face-to-face workshops and on-line communications, I helped tertiary educators develop their course pages on LMS platforms such as Moodle. This included to use and select resources, correct code phrases and providing them with feedback as they completed these pages. Recently I have facilitated online courses in course development and class planning, where I empower professional educators with the necessary skills to enhance their courses for enhanced student learning and stronger learning outcomes.I continue to help out in this role when I am able; helping professionals further grow in the education feild is one of my passions.

During this period, I worked with a small team responsible for developing a digital learning strategy for second-year tertiary students. I liaised with a team of teaching and laboratory academics, I.T and library staff and project coordinators to ensure all aspects of the project were met by set deadlines. I coded all assessment questions and troubleshot as needed; I updated intended learning outcomes (ILOs) in their relevant sections; I organised much of the on-line learning management system (LMS) into intuitive layouts.

While studying I undertook employment as a laboratory demonstrator for undergraduate chemistry students. This entailed supervising a group of 10 to 15 individuals of different ages, knowledge levels and backgrounds and guiding them through practical experiments in a laboratory environment.

As a Smart tutor, I taught people how to use the features of their phones, troubleshoot any problems they may have had, booked particularly troublesome phones for repair and ensure customers left feeling happy and confident. I also demonstrated continuous pride in and awareness of the brand I represented.In March 2016, I was promoted to 2IC service manager position. As a service manager I ensured a team of 21 smart tutors achieved their daily KPIs, felt happy, motivated and maintained a professional demeanour and appearance that suited the Samsung brand throughout their working day.

Sharp and Howells are a commercial laboratory specialising in forensic, analytical, and industrial chemistry. Throughout this time I assisted the employees of Sharp and Howells in sample preparation, chemical filing and general laboratory maintenance. I timely prepared many industrial samples so co-workers could continue analytical measurements without delay. Prior to an audit by the national laboratory regulation body (NATA), I ensured all reagents were properly stored and labelled in a way that allowed efficient and logical operations
