Sitting with the Firmware team I am the sole cloud developer and have architected and engineered SEEQC's cloud platform from scratch. This is used for orchestrating remote running of experiments for use in sales work and for centralising access to internal experimental data.This is microservice based platform primarily using serverless tools, along with SQL and No-SQL databases. I am also responsible for the security of the platform and data.Working with a consultant I developed a website used for investor and media demonstrations.As part of the Firmware team I am involved in the design and development of our company's core software stack for running experiments on quantum devices.

Worked in the AI Engineering team for major clients across Western Europe and North Africa in banking, insurance, big tech, telecommunications, and public sector. Worked on projects with as few as five people to ones with around one hundred.Initially worked as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer creating a Monzo-like platform for a UK high street bank where I primarily performed analytics on customer data which informed insights given to customers about their spending.Worked on a digital transformation project porting Teradata SQL to PySpark pipelines for a UK bank. This would lead to me being a recognised subject matter expert on PySpark within the company where I gave organisation wide talks on the topic and attended a number of successful sales meetings to explain the tech component of related proposals.I then worked on a number of small projects for public sector and big tech clients across a range of fields including natural language processing, know-your-customer AI and cloud.I finally worked on a Telecommunications project to develop ML pipelines, where my role was architecting and engineering the supporting cloud platform.During my work I managed small teams which included senior consultants.

Fixed term contract PDRA position developing signal processing code in C for use in Python. Ultimately to be used for error detection in cancer therapy cyclotrons.

As part of an international collaboration with the ILL in Grenoble and ISIS and DIAMOND at the Rutherford Appleton laboratories investigated exotic magnetism in potential spin ice materials using X-ray and neutron diffraction. Developed Monte Carlo simulations in C++ for crystal structure solving. Performed data analysis in Python and MATLAB. Research resulted in a publication in Nature Communcations (https://rdcu.be/dnkGn). Instructed undergraduate students in mathematics and experimental technique.
