With over 40 years experience in developing, integrating, and deploying complex data intensive systems for the DOD and the Intel Community, Mr. Boyd's focus is on transitioning new technology into operational capabilities supporting customer's needs. Mr. Boyd is considered a subject matter expert on Big Data and actively supports standards in AI and ML. He also has extensive experience integrating, processing and exploitation of FMV, Imagery, and SIGINT as part of tactical, airborne, and shipboard implementations. Currently Mr. Boyd is responsible for coordinating and guiding technology efforts across multiple organizations and coordinating technology approaches to assure compatibility with industry established standards to provide for seamless transition from conception to practical implementations. Mr. Boyd holds a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Information Technology.

Mr. Boyd recently lead the systems engineering and integration team for Project Morning Calm (PMC), a multi-year Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Army experiment to provide improved situational awareness, I&W, horizontal intelligence integration and collaborative technologies within the combined forces environment in the Korean theater. Under PMC Mr. Boyd and his team implemented the Information Dominance Center (IDC) Combined Analysis and Control Center (CACC) experimental network and visualization environment linking diverse elements of the 501st MI Brigade s combined intelligence operations including connectivity with remote detachments stationed along the DMZ, the Airborne Reconnaissance Low (ARL) platform, and the Deployed Intelligence Support Element (DISE).
