Commanded the 7th Civil Support Team (CST). The CST is Missouri National Guard's only full-time operational unit. Highly trained, the CST responds to Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear emergencies.Followed CST command by commanding Missouri's Agribusiness Development Team (ADT) in Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. The ADT provided non-kinetic counter-insurgency capabilities. The ADT provided similar skills and resources as USAID; however, the ADT in areas unsafe for USAID, Department of Agriculture, or other non-government organizations.

Served as Strategic Plans Branch Chief in National Guard Bureau's G5 Directorate.•Led National Guard Bureau’s participation in Army Campaign Plan (ACP) development. ACP was Army’s emerging methodology to effectively develop integrated policy and resource prioritization. Initiated a National Guard Bureau ACP working group to share situational awareness and develop coordinated National Guard input to ACP.•Represented National Guard Bureau in the Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR). QDR is the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) periodic strategy, programs, and resources review. It analyzes strategic objectives and potential military threats and serves as a principal input to the National Security Strategy (NSS). With over 500,000 Soldiers and Airmen, National Guard input is vital to a sound NSS.

Served as a Regional War Plans Branch Chief in Joint Staff's J7 Directorate•Led Joint Operational Plans collaboration and review amongst Combatant Commands and Services (e.g., Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines).•Assisted in developing improved planning processes and tools.
