As a Solutions Architect I act as the lead technical sales resource and advocate to local account teams and Enterprise Business customer base for Verizon's products and applications. I share responsibility with the Account Manager for understanding the client's goals, business problems, needs, network configurations and developing a strategic partnership with the customer to address these needs via integrated technical solutions. I design and price highly complex products, applications and integrated network solutions that meet customers' business needs. I proactively profile accounts and promote Verizon products and applications as business solutions. I provide technical support to clients and the account team by serving as subject matter expert in assigned products and applications, understanding industry applications, and educating the client on the technical and business benefits of Verizon products and applications. I assume responsibility for product and application performance assurance including client, vendor, and Verizon issues. I am active in all elements of the sales cycle including pre- and post-sales activities, where required, to assure error free and timely delivery of new or emerging applications. I specialize in Ethernet based products, MPLS, Public IP, VoIP and international network architecture.Maintained comprehensive circuit and large scale network design documentation on an ongoing basis. Analyzed design requests by interacting with users to gather additional application requirements to ensure diversity and redundancy objectives are met. Documented and presented alternate network design solutions. Participated in ongoing network management requests, which included development and testing of disaster recovery plans.
