- Currently managing the Navy's operational test team for Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense program.- Work closely with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the Navy's program office (IWS 1, 2, & 3) both at sea and in port conducting developmental (DT), and operational (OT) testing on board Aegis Cruisers, Destroyers, as well as Aegis Ashore, testing Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) engineering baselines and SM-3 & SM-6 missiles.- Acting AEGIS BMD Water Front Configuration Manager during all phases of testing.- Diverse background on four Guided Missile Destroyers (DDGs) , two joint units, including Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE), and Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq (MNSTC-I).- Supported Joint Special Operations from all services including Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF), down to actual teams world wide utilizing various C4I/Satellite Communications systems.- Two acquisition/operational testing tours at Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COTF) performing both C4I and Aegis BMD (Aegis Ashore Operational Test Director). While at COTF wrote and executed test plans for operational testing utilizing various ships and shore activities including AEGIS Ashore. Wrote extensive final test reports and briefed at the flag level. Worked closely with Modeling and Simulation as well as target accreditation.- Planned and executed tactical training and over saw installation of Ballistic Missile Defense on board ship to include training and qualifications of watch-standers during BMD certification as ships Ballistic Missile Defense Officer (BMDO).- Performed duties as Ships Electronics Material Officer (EMO) and Ships Maintenance Officer (SMO) overseeing all major repairs, upgrades, and installations across all departments including combat systems and engineering.
