David is a first generation college student, studying for a Bachelor's in Science of Economics at Florida Southern College's Barnett School of Business. His goal is to eventually get a Doctorate in Economics and teach sound free market orientated Economics at a University level. His interests are in Public Choice Theory, Austrian Economics, and the intersection of monetary policy and financial markets.David has been published in numerous publications such as the Ludwig von Mises Institute's Mises Wire and Power & Market Blogs, the Foundation for Economic Education, and the American Postliberal. David is currently a Social Media Contributor at the Ludwig von Mises Institute, where he works to popularize the Austrian tradition of Murray Rothbard, Ludwig von Mises, F.A. Hayek, and Carl Menger. He was previously a Hazlitt Apprentice through the Foundation for Economic Education and a Mises Apprentice through the Mises Institute.David was the winner of the 2024 Kenneth Garschina Undergraduate Essay Contest at the Ludwig von Mises Institute’s Austrian Economics Research Conference.
