As an instructor Operator I prepared and conducted air reconnaissance missions. Implemented airfield safety procedures and maintained flight records. I participated and supervised operator maintenance and crew procedures performed on air and ground equipment, communications equipment, vehicles, and power sources. Instructed annual academic training to ensure aircrew members remained in compliance with doctrine. As a Shadow Operator I operated unmanned aircraft inside of restricted airspace, to include mission planning, mission sensors/payload operations, launching, remotely piloting and recovering the aerial vehicle. I coordinated between air-traffic control and maintenance personnel, dispatching, using airfield landing and navigational aids, and applying knowledge of weather information while promoting a positive work environment.
