I am a dedicated IT professional with 20+ years’ experience in producing high quality solutions within the pressurised environment of global financial markets. In my current role, those solutions provide country-scale real-time payments platforms and supporting software products to enable a country’s critical national payments infrastructure. Prior to this I designed and created solutions for back-office settlement systems for large investment banks. Across these roles I have worked with a diverse and globally distributed client base which has given me extensive knowledge of producing architectural solutions providing the widest functionality without sacrificing either performance or scalability.I am an exceptional communicator who builds strong and effective working relationships with management, peers, clients and prospective clients. I frequently provide architectural oversight of new systems to both technical and non-technical audiences, including in pre-sales situations with prospects. I have also provided a range of training courses to wider audiences from high-level overviews to in-depth technical commentaries.I lead by example and have been lucky enough build capable, high-performance teams which understand product visions and can deliver such in a repeatable manner. I believe in creating, and being part of, a positive, supportive and effective working environment. As such I have directly mentored and grown a number of peers and junior team members
