I have over 25 years of experience in the manufacture of complex RF and Digital communication systems. As an Electronic Technologist, I have had the opportunity to work on satellite communication systems at Com Dev Ltd. in Cambridge Ontario and then at Nortel on their CDMA wireless technology in Calgary Alberta.The position at Com Dev included all aspects of production from assembly through tuning, testing and finally shipping of complex RF microwave multiplexing subsystems for communication spacecraft. Testing included RF testing in vacuum chambers to simulate the space environment and high power RF tests . I worked on projects such as INMARSAT3, INTELSAT and AURORA2 satellites.Nortel Networks provided the experience of producing advanced digital electronic and RF communication equipment for their CDMA cellular product line. During my career, I worked from both the testing to production test engineering of these products.I am currently working at General Dynamics Mission Systems -Canada as a Technologist in the Integrated Tactical Network - System Integration group.
