Conducted continuous analysis of vulnerabilities in order to effectively manage risk to critical infrastructure. Managed the United States Forces Korea vulnerability assessment and critical infrastructure protection programs which had a direct impact on the protection of over 20 US installations and billions worth of resources. Supervised and executed an annual budget over $700K. Conducted theater-wide protection risk assessments on behalf of the Commander, United States Forces Korea and recommended mitigation and protection priorities. Planned and executed protection operations in support of the biannual Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul Korea attended by the President of the United States and more than a dozen other key world leaders. Chaired the monthly US-only Antiterrorism Working Group in cooperation with US military intelligence organizations, the US Embassy Regional Security Officer, and the component security chiefs from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Special Operations Command Korea. Coordinated delivery of the supplies with British Forces and the Iraqi Police to guarantee security. Gained support from the US Navy to deploy an unmanned aerial vehicle as “eyes in the sky” to provide a clear view of potential threats to the supply convoy. Resulted in a resounding success. Commanded and led a joint security force of 55 Airmen, Soldiers, and Marines forward deployed to Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras. Secured routine medical support provided to thousands of Hondurans in the villages in and around the base. Advised the Joint Task Force commander on the proper force protection posture and measures to mitigate threats posed by transnational terrorist groups.
