This £150m Programme of work encompassed the removal of out of support Windows and SQL platforms via the remediation and migration the applications, infrastructure services and databases, onto supported Windows and SQL platforms. This included Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 Platforms. Also SQL 2000, SQL 2005 & SQL 2008, over 2000 Business Application on over 22,000 Servers. This end to end management was designed and delivered, managed and run effectively from January 2015. WSMP (Windows Server Migration Programme) sat with the LBG Major Programme stack to remove Level 13-15 RED risks within the bank.This included using internal project teams, external Vendors and ITO (Off-shore Partners) using a Fixed Price, know outcome model designed to deliver. Over 750 individuals involved in the programme. Focused on fast track remediation including focus on benefits and risk removal. This delivery also focused on benefits mainly in cost avoidance, removal and reduced BAU run rates. It also incorporated the move into; Internal on Premise Data Centres, IBM Cloud Data Centres and Microsoft Azure Cloud. Programme Manager - Resilence Programme;Managing the KLO (Keeping the Lights On) portfolio of change (IT for IT). The £15m portfolio includes the remediation of resilience issues, the introduction of new security systems as well as upgrading and replacement of out of support systems throughout the Bank. The role reports to the Security Director on progress and monitoring of key changes and challenges within the Bank. Managing the full life cycle of the projects, projects managers, managing escalations and maintaining delivery schedules.

Managing the build of the midrange P-series and i-series heritage estates onto a new fully supported operating 'Gold' build platform. • Project Mananger responsible for the successful delivery of a Business Process Management System. Matrix management of over twenty teams within Core Banking IT. • Direct line management responsibility for the welfare and development of colleagues.

The role encompassed the project management of multiple simultaneous projects at any given time. Managing the full life cycle of projects from sales initiation to project delivery to account management. The role involves managing a team of project managers who ensure the projects are delivered effectively, efficiently and within budget. The role demands a strong team leader with the ability to control, influence and liaise with both team members, customers, internal IT teams and senior board level Directors.

This complete project role covered the planning and implementation of any new system. It included the training and ‘trouble shooting’ requirements with the installation of any new, complex IT system. It covered the full end to end project management spectrum.
