David Briscoe is Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Transplant Research Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. He is also an elected member of the National Physician-Scientist Honors Society, the American Society of Clinical Investigation (ASCI).Dr. Briscoe is an experienced professional in the field of transplant immunology. His laboratory research is best known for discovery based initiatives on the identity of molecules that regulate local inflammatory responses. Dr. Briscoe is also the lead investigator in a multicenter transformative care clinical trial in pediatric renal transplantation. Results of his laboratory studies have therapeutic implications in solid organ transplantation, autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases.
