Work with facilities to drive improved performance at assembly plants as it relates to maintenance and throughput to potential. Drive the expanded use of predictive non-lockout maintenance tasks through Infrared Measurements, Vibration Analysis, Ultrasonic Measurements and the use of Enterprise Gateway for Condition Based Monitoring. Identify and replicate best practices for MTBF/MTTR for tooling failures and processes for all NA assembly plants. Monitor, review & analyze significant plant equipment breakdowns. Work with plant & OEM personnel to drive prevent re-occurrence and standardization. Provide process technical support to core engineering during the development and implementation of new model & capacity increase programs. Present relevant materials and topics to senior management. Provide training and coaching to GSR engineers, managers and manufacturing engineers within the organization and assembly plants. Develop and coach suppliers. Show less
