David is a highly experienced barrister with some 30 years in practice at the NSW Bar. David has had a diverse career at the Bar, and practices in a variety of specialist areas including commercial, personal injury and crime. He also appears in coronial inquests and ICAC inquiries.David has been briefed to advise and appear in large scale litigation including class actions and appeared for the Commonwealth in relation to the Fairbridge Farm School class action concerning widespread claims of child abuse. He appeared in the Pan Pharmaceutical litigation, a $268 million claim against the Commonwealth Therapeutic Goods Administration, and in the Melbourne Voyager collision litigation, in 2007 and 2008. David has also been briefed by the Defence Department in defence of over 50 claims arising out of a 2005 naval helicopter crash in Indonesia.David has extensive experience as an advocate and adviser in criminal cases concerning serious assaults, child abuse matters, and drug supply and manufacturing matters. He is briefed as a prosecutor by the ODPP and also accepts briefs to appear for the accused.
