Assisting the United Nations IOM with refugee camp coordination, including Medyka border. Consulting for NGOs and private contractors, with an emphasis on aid sourcing and distribution.

David provided strategic resources for Afghan Refugee Camps at Dona Ana Missile Range (12,000 refugees) and White Sands New Mexico (5,000 refugees). He provided solutions for prime contractors in areas of staffing, maintenance, logistics, water, waste and fuel transport.

David consulted with Global Go to provide strategy and support development of new business, including Global Go's Tyndall Air Force Base reconstruction contracts in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

David served as a consultant to Continuity Global Solutions during their ramp up phase of staffing, supply and procurement for Fort Bliss Unaccompanied Minor Relief Camp, which quickly to grew to 10,000 beds at its peak.

American Energy provides quality drilling and oil field support services in the heart of the Bakken. As one of the founding partners, David stepped into the interim CEO role for 2019-2020 in order to help the company navigate its growth. During the pandemic this included shifting into drilling for Helium as energy prices fell.

David developed the strategy for transporting multiple modular man camps to the Permian oil basin for worker housing. He specialized in overall camp development, including market projections, site location and acquisition, financing and implementation. He was also a partner in T-Rex Lodging, a 225 Bed Camp near Odessa, Texas.

In London 2012, David provided the contingency plan for 4000 additional troops including Life Support Areas, Housing, Logistics, to the British Military (MOD), and received a commendation for service from the British Ministry of Defence.

In 2002, David joined with fellow SLC Olympic contractor Phil Morrell on an exploratory trip to Turkey, Iraq and Kuwait. This trip would become the foundation of Morrell International. As a senior strategist and boots-on-ground, David helped Phil build Morrell International (Al-Morrell Development/ Oasis International Waters) into one of the largest contractors in Iraq for the Military by 2011. Morrell built the first six on-base dining facilities and by 2003 were providing over 100,000 meals per day to over 30,000 troops.David project managed the first facility construction, procurement and staffing, and then recruited the management team that would go on to build and run five additional facilities. Morrell staffed over 3,000 employees, many of which were third country nationals with speciality skills.
- David led recruitment and staffing efforts in Italy, Romania, Germany, Croatia, Australia, India and Turkey.Morrell won a DOD sole source water contract to build six on-base bottling facilities, which collectively had capabilities of producing 2 million bottles per day. Over the course of the war, they provided 2.5 billion bottles of water to the US military. David led the construction procurement for the bottling facilities. He used Venice, Italy, and Bratislava, Slovakia as a base to procure over 60 million dollars of industrial bottling and water purification equipment. He coordinated 25 cargo transport missions using Russian Antinov and IL-76 planes to various US military bases in Iraq.Employ Iraq was created to offer sustainable employment to Iraqi civilians so that they could rebuild their communities. It included agricultural, construction and light industry projects. While it was initially rejected, the concept later gained momentum under General Petraeus during the final years of the war. Construction of Central Command Headquarters (CentCom), AAFES and a gravel supply operation.

In 2010, David backed and led the ground team for the Morrell Foundation providing disaster response to the 2010 earthquake. He formed "Employ Haiti", based on their successful "Employ Iraq" non-profit initiative in the Middle East. They consulted to the UN and various NGOs in reconstruction, Water, bringing aid in country and also rebuilt two schools.

David continued to consult, work, and volunteer for multiple Olympic games, for housing, and Olympic Village management including Nagano, Athens, Torino, Beijing, and Vancouver.

In 2002 at the Salt Lake Winter Games, The Organizing Olympic Committee formally adopted David's Olympic housing program written during the Sydney Games. But in reality, Salt Lake became the "Security Games" after the 9/11 attacks causing bookings to drop. David formed Utah Housing Management and presented a bid to the US National Guard for a temporary army base for the Salt Lake Olympic Games. This led to a contract to convert a facility into an LSA Base in which 1000 troops were housed, fed and transported during the SLC Games.

David and his partners created an online housing and logistics system to match Olympic visitors with local housing solutions. They recruited over one thousand individual apartments, homes and multi-bed facility owners and convinced them to join an online reservation system to connect them with corporate and private clients attending the Olympic Games. This was eight years before the creation of AirBnB, and the internet was in its early days. David and his team used a combination emerging internet tech and with online photos and rating systems, along with traditional travel concierge services, fax machine contracts, in-person inspections, customized management, cleaning and wire transfers. Sportsworks successfully booked and serviced over 100,000 room nights, more than the official Olympic housing partner. Notable clients included NBC, the Clinton White House, Coca Cola, Muhammad Ali.

Olympic Housing and Logistics for over 5000 workforce personnel. David and partner John Blankenship provided over 5000 beds for service workers in catering, security, and Olympic transportation network. He did this by combining makeshift warehouses, college dorms, and summer camps into a wide ranging network of housing solutions strategically based near various Olympic venues. David also received an emergency order of 500 extra beds 3 hours before staff arrivals at one site. With not enough extra single beds - He and his team cut 250 king beds in half and successfully provided for the staff until new beds could be provided.

David volunteered for the Norwegian Olympics. After sleeping on the floor of a barn with hundreds of other volunteers due to housing shortages, David saw an opportunity improved service worker housing at future Olympic games.
