My role at CMC consists of a mix of Software development, Report Development and Business Analysis. This role is primarily based around the ERP system called Minemarket. Here are some of the functions of my role, as well as some of the work that I have completed during my time at CMC- I was the primary DBA for all of the databases across the company network which are running on SQL Server 2005/2008/2012. One of these databases is for the Minemarket system, which is the main ERP system- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)- Development of stored procedures, views, triggers and adhoc T-SQL queries- I built an intranet system which is integrated with Minemarket using ASP,NET and C# running on a SQL Server 2008 database. This system has allowed for enhanced Business Intelligence reporting and has also automated the integration of data with an external company.- I built a datawarehouse for reporting and asp.net web services which feed a custom built Ipad application allowing for automated reporting to be done from an Ipad anywhere in the world and feed off live data- I acted as the primary business analyst and project manager for all changes, upgrades and enhancements to the ERP system. For this I worked directly with the Project Managers and the Software developers at Ventyx.

- SQL developer on SQL server 2000/2005/2008 for creating reports, data uploads, mass data changes, data integrity checks and much more- Managed SQL data integration packages between the Finance, Partner Management and Financial Reporting databases- Developed DTS/SSIS packages using Visual Studio, and created tables, views and stored procedures in SQL server to automate data transfers between internal applications- Automated the export/import data to third party vendors via ftp. – either in excel format or flat files- Produced automated daily/weekly/monthly reports. Also produce ad-hoc data statistics to support Business decision making- Monitor data integrity between databases and applications on a daily basis- Migrated SQL Server 2000 DTS packages to SQL Server 2008 SSIS- Handled large quantities of data in SQL Server/ MS Excel and Flat Files. This work often involved dealing with 200,000 rows of data or more, whether it be financial data, or customer and partner information- Ad-hoc joining of data together from different systems to produce meaningful information/reports for business users- Involved in SQL syntax testing and process reviews to ensure a successful upgrade from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2008- Involved in many project implementations where teamwork, communication and meeting deadlines was of the utmost importance

Managed the outsourced Monitoring system that was being sold as software as a service. This involved managing the system as well as developing automated reports on our clients environments and automatically determining business intelligence statistics to improve the service to our clients.

At EMC I was part of the global reporting team, writing custom T-SQL queries, and building these queries into Hyperion brio to produce reports for the business. I primarily worked on the quality assurance databases for the customer quality team.
