Started as a teller handling basic transactions until I understood the position better. After completing my Associates degree at Middlesex, I decided to take my work experience another level and become a loan officer. Working as a teller I handled cash. Assisted with online banking and account take overs, such as fraud or reactivating accounts. Replacing info, or physical items such as plastic cards or checks and account numbers. As a loan officer I open accounts for minors, small business’s, trust/totten accounts. Removing and adding joint owners to accounts. Opening additional checking accounts under existing memberships and providing information regarding our memberships. Handled domestic and internal wire transfers going out of the country. Placing service request for account take overs or fraud. Additional obligations involved opening loans. Pulling credit for personal, auto loans, and credit cards. Looking at credit history and making calls to determine counter offers for each individual who applies. Completing and funding loans after closing.
