This involved transforming Tribal the Digital agency into a service design offering, re-branding and re-launching RAPP to TRACK the data driven agency, re-focusing Mango the PR business away from the traditional and developing the DDB brand from a traditional advertising business to a modern and engaging offering. The shift was from a siloed culture to one of integration through delivering a shared service offering and supporting the need for strong independent brands.Key Clients: Westpac, Telstra, Suncorp Group (Apia, AAMI), Don Small Goods, Disney & AHM.Clients Won: Porsche Group Australia, Dulux Group (British Paints), Fortywinks (Digital), Adidas (PR), Momentum Energy, Monash Children’s Hospital.

The objective was to re-ignite the RAPP brand in Melbourne. Build a Digital, Data and CRM business that was right for the times and build it without losing the creative output.In 2 years the agency doubled in size to nearly 30 people, the first data scientist hired, a shift to CRM planners from account planners implemented and a data offering established. Key Clients: Officeworks (B2B, Data, CRM, Lifecycle planning, Adobe integration), AAMI, Apia, Red Cross Blood service, Momentum EnergyClients Won: Deakin University (advancement), Maxwell & Williams.

The DDB Group hired Steve Crawford and myself to set up a boutique high-end strategic and creative offering. The offering broke-even after 6 months and made profit in year 1. Staff numbers and profitability grew exponentially over the next two years. From the high’s to the lows, Joined at the height of a Sydney 2000 Olympic sponsorship, the launch of a new and improved Frequent Flyer program Global Rewards and at a time where Airline brands were the pinnacle of branding and finished a week following 9/11 when the airline went into receivership.
