For most of my professional life I have been a radio journalist and broadcaster (in South Africa, The Netherlands and Israel), and I have comparable experience in the print media (mostly in South Africa) as well as some experience in television (in South Africa and Israel).In my retirement I am preparing manuscripts for several proposed books, two of which are featured in my website: davidandrews-brown.jimdo.com In my spare time I teach courses in Christian Culture at the Collège Sainte Marie, in the French Cathedral city of Meaux, where I also sing in the school choir.

In 1971 I was a crew-member-cum-radio correspondent abord the 15-metre Norwegian-built ketch Sandefjord in the first Cape-tto-Rio Yacht Race. My two papal documentaries Habemus Papam and John-Paul: A Legacy of Two Popes documented the death of Pope Paul VI, and the elections of Pope John-Paul I and John-Paul II, all within a space of a few months in 1978.
