Most of my time in the renewable energy industry has been working with the hybridisation of renewable energy technologies. Originally this started with modelling such systems and how to best integrate them to provide a benefit to each technology. From this basis we created many different hybrid system systems for clients. Something that immediately became apparent was the huge variation in project requirements and how these must be balanced in order to create the best solution for a client. Each renewable energy technology has its own niche and so working across a wide range is imperative to deliver the best solutions. This knowledge is carried forward in our products and projects today, we strive to make sure that the best solution is always supplied to a client, even when this means passing a project because the best solution is a technology we do not supply.
