Blades & Williams is the largest hardware/ building supplies distribution company in Barbados. My role at Blades & Williams is to manage the sales staff, implement and maintain sales targets and develop financially viable sales routes. I will am also responsible for building Brand awareness through effective marketing. Since joining Blades & Williams Ltd I have been instrumental in securing the Westinghouse Brand for distribution by the Hardware division.

I designed the Cafe kitchen layout, equipment selection , menu development and implementation. I also assisted with staff selection in conjunction with our Human Resources manager. My plan was to bring a menu with simple but effective twists while being healthy and easy to produce.

BW Hotel & Restaurant Supplies Ltd is one of the few suppliers on the island with a showroom where you can browse every aspect of equipment, cutlery, crockery and accessories specifically for any Hotel/ Restaurant. We can special order items for your business or home. My goal is to raise the service standards of the company as well as increase BW Hotel brand awareness through aggressive marketing as well as building lasting relationships in Hotels, Villas and Restaurants. We represent Brands such as Utopia Tableware, Vitamix, Vulcan, Globe, Hamilton Beach Commercial, True Manufacturing, John Boos, Winco and Allegacy to name a few. Within the last 12 months I have secured the Tramontina, Kitchenaid Commercial and Utopia Tableware Brands for distribution in Barbados. Retail store hours are 8am- 4pm Monday to Friday, 8am -12 pm on Saturdays.

This category includes brands such as Durex, Unilever (Motions, Just for me), Proctor & Gamble (Old Spice, Always, Ivory) Elasta QP, Goody, House of Chetham.2014: Confectionery Sales Supervisor. Increase distribution and sales for Festival cookies, Hershey's, Ferrero Rocher and Russell Stover. 2011: I was the category Sales Supervisor for Confectionery at Brydens Distribution. Brands represented included Ferrero Roche and Hershey's.2010: Pharmaceutical Sales Supervisor responsible for all OTC brands sold to Pharmacies and the retail trade in Barbados as well as developing new business within th OECS territories.2007-2011: Durex Brand Manager, responsible for growing the sales and promoting the Brand. Ensuring Durex was the prefered Brand across the island. 2006- 2010: Kodak Brand Manager, responsible for developing all aspects of Kodak business including Graphics and Kodak Medical.

A dynamic high volume traditional Barbadian restaurant specializing in home made meals, as well as natural juices. Having two strategic locations in Bridgetown exposed both outlets to a diverse cross section of customers. Daily approximately 125 meals were sold. Event catering.

Photo Finish One Hour Labs is one of the most dynamic photo processing labs on the island. During my tenure there it was my responsibility to maintain stock levels including chemicals, ensure customer service was continuously excellent, handle daily cash deposits and reconciliations. I joined the company in June 1987 as a lab technician.Promoted to Store Supervisor in 1989 and in 1991 was promoted to Store Manager until my departure in June 2000.

Grantley Adams International Airport

As sales associate i was attached to the following departments until 1985 ,Liquor Department. Sports Dept, Camera dept.From 1985 - 1988 i was relocated to the Duty Free shop at the Grantley Adams International Airport where i assisted the Manager with purchasing locally and internationally as well as logistics.
