• Provide leadership and advice to the Operations Managers in the implementation of the Boral Production System (BPS)• Facilitate training, and focused events, using BPS processes to improve site performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and against key KPI's such as Operational Efficiency• Lead and coach Managers in the planning and execution of their BPS implementation, enabling the business to achieve business KPI's• Provide direction and support to Managers and their teams in the planning and execution of BPS Action Plans, setting the right priorities to enable achievement of their KPI's and benchmarks• Actively promote the use of BPS principles and be an effective change agent throughout the business, affecting the performance and behaviour of Senior Managers, through to Operators• Conduct Lean Assessments of worksites across the National business• Follow up Assessments and reports with site Management and facilitate development of Continuous Improvement plans

• Conduct & facilitate activities to initiate improvements in line with BPS principles and value stream targets• Implementation support of BPS projects within the Department• Provide training on BPS elements & principles to shop floor, engineers & T/L’s• Assist in process confirmation & audit process for Point CIP, 5S, TPM and Standardised Work.• Provide process leadership & implementation support for roll-out of Standardised work and Job Instruction in Department• Project management of nominated BPS projects in Department• Participate in Value Stream Design and Future State Mapping• Tracking of BPS project & System CIP metrics• Special projects as assigned by management

Communicate and deploy policies to workshops.• Labour co-ordination across all shifts, to meet production output targets• Daily communication meetings with workshops• Effectively communicate with internal customers and with workshops• Manage time attendance – Leave co-ordination• Initiate performance management discussions within workshops• Recruitment of workshop personnel as required.• Lead implementation of new initiatives• Demonstrate positively reinforced values and leadership guidelines• Preparation of monthly production planning with CLP, workshop headcount planning and overtime• Control production work in progress, overtime, scrap and stock loss• Initiate, implement and review improvements• Support NPI process• Coordinate resources from service departments for maintenance requests and in the event of equipment breakdowns• Assist with external and internal quality system audits• Support containment, root cause analysis, corrective action and verification activities
