I was an account manager at Sign Supplier in Manchester, engaging with clients, both business and individual to specify bespoke solutions for projects ranging in size from a local independent business through to a larger organisation's main site. This involved discussing with the client over e-mail, phone or meeting them at their location before drafting specifications for the project and leasing with the fabrication team on costs and timescales in order to provide a quote to the client. I am a qualified graphic designer having graduated with a BA from Coventry University in 2009. I have spent some time working on freelance projects ranging from logo design through to folder, booklet and signage. Prior to moving into signage, i was the senior preflight technician for Gardenia's online brand team covering trade and direct platforms processing supplied files for commercial and large format print, giving a large focus around the customer support side of the print industry giving me a good working knowledge of commercial lithographic, digital print and file supply. In later years I have liaised with other members of staff to write file supply guides both for internal use and for the Printing.com network and been asked to train two fellow employees in my role. My strengths as a designer are logo design, page layout, model building and technical drawing.
