Responsible for technical roadmaps for all end user devices including hardware and software.Provide technical design input for all projects originating out of End User Services, and approve technical designs on behalf of End User Services.Work with operational teams and leadership to ensure that new services are secure, and other ongoing projects are considered.

Responsible for desktop support services for R&D consisting of 12 technicians supporting 3,000+ Northern California based end users.Work closely with internal resources & end users to ensure successful delivery of service pertaining to end user devices.Define policies and procedures for the desktop support team, and assist with updating written policies for cross functional teams.Provide reports on desktop service delivery to senior leadership & manage team's workload to defined SLAs. Assist with design of Service Now implementation, manage project team for IT End User Services through delivery, training, and support phases.

Provided top class desktop support service to VMware's R&D organization in a heterogeneous environment. Provided support for Windows, Mac, and Linux desktops.Served as technical escalation for Palo Alto desktop issues.Collaborated with service owners to resolve issues.Provided root cause analysis for hard to solve issues, and documented solutions.Interviewed new candidates to the desktop teams in the US, and provided feedback to the hiring manager.Assisted with defining desktop hardware and software standards for use within VMware's R&D department.
