This involves the spiritual and vocational formation of teachers and staff. My work involves a great deal of time establishing, fostering, maintaining and restoring the multiplicity of relationships that a cross-generational environment such as a school involves. I am not a registered teacher and I don't have a teaching load. I am responsible for the worship life of the College.In addition I am responsible for the Relational Management of the College through the processes of Restorative Practice. I work with students, families, teachers and staff on particular personal matters through pastoral counseling and with specific personal and relational focus through Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (Certificate in CBT 2011 and Primary Certificate in Rational-Emotive Therapy & techniques 2011). I also lead parent and adult education, particularly in the area of Emotional Intelligent Parenting. I am a qualified facilitator for the emotional intelligent parenting programs "Tuning in to Kids" (2008) and "Tuning in to Teens" (2011) from the Mindful Centre of the University of Melbourne .I also serve on the College Council. The board is responsible for overseeing the 25 Lutheran schools in Vic, NSW & Tas., to ensure that they meet their educational, synodical, legal, fiscal and operational responsibilities. I held one of three executive officer position in the LCA Victorian District, including Tasmania. This was a new potion that I was initially asked to create in 1998. My vision for the position was accepted and I was called to serve in it at the beginning of 2000.The position involved working with LCA congregations in Victoria and Tasmania on a range of matter with respect to their identity and purpose as Lutheran congregations and the context in which they found themselves. My vision for the position was accepted and I was called to serve in it at the beginning of 2000.The position involved working with LCA congregations in Victoria and Tasmania on a range of matter with respect to their identity and purpose as Lutheran congregations and the context in which they found themselves. This involved considerable visitation and consultation with the congregations and their leaders as well as being proactively involved in helping them to look at their future. I also took on the role of District Statistician in order to use the annual statistical return data to better understand the trends and movements that happen continually with relational organisms such as churches.I worked with the District Administrator on a range of creative and effective strategies in which the congregations and the District could work together to eliminate burdensome levels of debt. This process was very successful.I resigned from this position and took leave of absence from August 2005 in order to provide palliative care for a member of my family. Show less

I was stationed at Kew Police Station as general duties.I transferred to the Forensic Science Laboratory and began training as a Firearms Examiner and expert witness in matters relating to the identification, examination and safety testing of firearms.
