Managing a world-renowned, prestigious furniture showroom with a turnover of over £2,000,000 per annum, I am responsible for leading a team of three sales consultants. A key responsibility is driving sales. This includes supporting my team’s discussions with customers and if needed stepping in to help close sales. I monitor all orders and handle all.

As a self-employed mural artist, I pursued my personal creative ambitions, creating fun murals for children’s bedrooms. This allowed me to also challenge myself to expand my marketing and creative skills.

Whilst working for this independent furniture company, I took on the challenge of managing a fast-paced showroom selling products such as sofas and sofa beds. Day to day responsibilities included all aspects of customer service, liaising with manufacturers whilst maintaining a high level of presentation. I also supported a team of four people to achieve.

Working within this structured company, I was involved with the annual performance management of staff. I reported to Head Office, reviewing sales and producing individual sales commission reports..
